Salesforce integration

These steps require Salesforce (SFDC) administrator access.

Authorize the Yess App

1. Use the Magic Link

   Click the [Magic Link] provided by Yess to be redirected to Salesforce.

2. Authorize Integration

   Follow the prompts to confirm and authorize the Yess app integration.

Create a Custom Field

1. Define Custom Field

   Create a Yess Tag on the Contact, and Account Salesforce objects to ensure proper synchronization between Salesforce and Yess.

2. Field Details

   • Field Name: Yess_tag

   

   • Field Type: Checkbox

   

   • Object Types: Contacts and Accounts

Set Up the Yess Queue

1. Create Yess Queue

   Create a new Salesforce queue named Yess by following this official Salesforce guide: 👉 Salesforce Queue Setup Guide

Retrieve the Yess Queue URL

1. Access Queue Settings

   In Salesforce, go to Setup > Users > Queues.

2. Find Yess Queue

   Find the Yess Queue you created and click on its name.

   
3. Copy Queue URL

   Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.

   
4. Complete Setup

   Send the Queue URL to your Yess contact to complete the setup.

View Records in Salesforce

When contacts and accounts are synced between Yess and Salesforce, they are automatically linked using email addresses (for contacts) and domain names (for accounts). This linking enables:

• Automatic activity logging
• Pulling Leads and accounts from Salesforce to Yess
• Writing activities to Salesforce from Yess
• Easy navigation between platforms

Viewing Yess Activities in Salesforce

All activities performed in Yess are automatically logged as tasks in Salesforce. To view these:

1. Open Contact/Account Record

   Navigate to any contact record in Salesforce

2. Check Activity History

   Scroll to the Activity History section to see all Yess activities

   

All synced activities will appear in Salesforce with “Yess” as the source, making it easy to track actions taken through our platform.

Accessing Salesforce from Yess

You can quickly access Salesforce records directly from Yess:

1. Find Salesforce Icon

   Look for the Salesforce icon in the Leads or Accounts details panel

   
2. Click to Open

   Click the icon to open the Salesforce record in a new tab
