Only users with the **Admin **role in Salesloft have permission to authenticate and manage the the integration settings.

How It Works

  • Tracking: Yess monitors your Outreach sequences and identifies steps requiring LinkedIn actions (like connection requests and messages).
  • Automation: When a lead reaches a LinkedIn step, Yess automatically executes the action for you.
  • Sync: All relevant lead and account data is synced and mapped to Yess objects for unified tracking.
  • Logging: Each LinkedIn activity performed by Yess is automatically logged in Outreach.

Step 1: Authenticate with Salesloft

Go to the Integrations page in your Yess admin settings.
  1. Click “Connect” next to Salesloft.
  2. Log in with your Salesloft credentials and authorize access.
  3. Once connected, Yess will begin syncing your sequences and leads.

Step 2: Enable LinkedIn Automation

  • In the Data Pull Criteria tab, select LinkedIn Automation.
  • Specify which Salesloft sequences should have LinkedIn steps automated.
    • Choose a sequences by using a tag
 To use tags, first create the tag in Salesloft and assign it to your relevant sequences. You can update the tag at any time, and Yess will include all sequences with that tag in the automation.
  • Set Sync Settings
  • Configure when your data syncs automatically between Salesloft and Yess -
  • Cadence: Choose how often your sync should run — Hourly, Daily, or at a Specific Time.
  • Start Sync: Set when the sync schedule should begin
  • Manual Sync options
    • If you need to sync outside of the regular schedule, you can trigger it manually:
    • Sync Now: Click Sync Now to immediately sync your data based on the current sync criteria.
    • New Data Only: Enable the New Data Only toggle to pull only records that were created or updated since the last sync.(If disabled, the system will perform a full sync based on the selected filters.)

Step 3: Field Mapping

Once you’ve defined your data sync, move to the Field Mapping tab.
  • Map Outreach accounts and prospects to the corresponding Yess objects.
  • Ensure that all data points are correctly aligned for seamless integration and escalation flow.
If you have Salesforce fields that don’t have a dedicated destination field in Yess, you can still capture them using the Tags field.
  • Use “Tag” field to add the field’s value only to the Tags column.
  • Use “Tag with Prefix” to include both the field name and value in the format: Field Name: Value ( Industry: Finance).
This allows you to retain important data from Salesforce even when a direct field mapping isn’t available.

Step 4: Additional Settings - Content Template

Salesloft does not allow pre-written templates for LinkedIn message steps. As a result, every time a LinkedIn engagement is triggered through Salesloft, Yess must generate the message automatically based on a fallback template you configure here. What you need to do:- By default, Yess selects an AI-based template that dynamically generates the LinkedIn message for you.
  • If you’d like, you can refine the AI instructions for better alignment with your tone or outreach style.
  • Alternatively, you can select a different fallback template (such as a classic, static template) from the dropdown.
How it works:
  • When a LinkedIn step is triggered, Yess uses your selected fallback template to create the message.
  • You’ll be notified via Slack to approve, edit, or decline the message before it’s sent.
  • If you decline, the task will be skipped in Salesloft with a note explaining the reason.

Saving Your Configuration

  • Click Save in the upper right corner after completing all setup steps.
